Negotiations Update:
We met with the district July 10th and have scheduled meetings August 3rd, 10th and 12th at the District Office.
Our General Membership meeting will be held Tuesday, August 25th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
across from Mountain View School from 2:30-3:30.
We need your attendance at this meeting, so please save the date!
If there IS a tentative agreement, be ready to vote.
OR, if there IS NOT tentative agreement your team will need guidance.

Ferndale Budget:
The School Board did pass the budget for 2009-2010 Monday with many positions being restored.
Elvis Dellinger and Linda Quinn said that they will be calling backed some of our
laid off members soon and are hopeful most will have a job with the Ferndale School District.
As the Bellingham Herald reported, some positions will be temporary and have special requirements
needed to meet the stimulus guidelines.
